Hard Working People Deserve Great Tasting Coffee
Here at The Mill, I believe that community and connections begin with a place to sit, a place to feel welcome and where problems are solved. Finding a place you feel valued and appreciated is nearly impossible these days with Covid and shut downs, we now have a society that has forgotten how to connect in person and show kindness towards one another. I strive to reignite a sense of community while paying tribute to the blue collar folks past and present in our community over coffee. Whether it be a rancher, a logger, a miner or a cowboy, cities of Central Ca were built by nothing less than hard working men and women through their blood, sweat and tears. This work ethic and innovation is not long forgotten and continues as a way of life here in our hills. I want to honor our past and current working folks by offering you a great cup of coffee and a place you feel appreciated. I believe when given the opportunity, we find we are more alike than different and my hope is that The Mill will bring an opportunity to our community to gather, reigniting our positive attitude and ignite conversation and laughter. Think back to the simpler times, when the Auberry lumber Mill was once the thriving vein of grit and pride in our community and lets get back to work building the community that once was.
Lets get back to building friendships instead of taller fences. Let us be a better community that inspires the younger generations to get involved and continue the art of our endangered trades that keep America running. Lets grab a great cup of coffee, get to know one another and see how we can improve our community. I urge you to use The Mill to connect, reflect and honor those before us who made our town so successful and unique. I further challenge you to continue to get your hands dirty but also keep the blue collar trades alive with conversation and mentorship within our community.
You work hard, there is always work to be done. I KNOW ....but I encourage you to grab a chair and slow down for just a bit. The Mill is the perfect place to play a game of cards or dominoes and take in our beautiful mountains. Bring a friend and catch up, make it a daddy/daughter or mother/son date spot for an Italian soda after school or come read a book & study for that upcoming test. Bible studies, book clubs, baby showers, bridal celebrations, fun monthly events, business meetings, and spontaneous fun......You never know what can happen over a cup of coffee at The Mill!
